advertising your flight school

Can any instructors provide me with info on their club/flightschools marketing ideas that are the most successful in getting the punters in. Either for trial lessons or full courses. We are reviewing our advertising expenditure and are keen to explore new ideas. Your input would be gratefully received. Thanks.

Try a simple, clear website with no 'kiddie designed' gizmos. Get some decent keyword sets embedded and get it listed on plenty of other sites. Then when someone types in 'Flying lesson, outer mongolia' into their favourite search engine you'll come out somewhere near the top.

I'm told Yellow Pages is the primary search tool for the non-web community.

Probably all a load of rubbish, which is why I can spend the time typing it out at this time of night.
