Question Minimum requirements to do AFI course?

Can somebody tell me what the basic minimum requirements are in order to do an AFI course. Also, am I right in thinking that without a CPL or BCPL an AFI cannot be paid? (unless they clean the flying club toilet or something)

Also, I believe the AFI is now an FI rating but restricted. Is this right?

The AFI no longer exists.

Pre-entry requirements for the FI(R) course have been detailed elsewhere but are, essentially, 200 hrs flight time and all CPL (or ATPL) exams and pre-entry flight test passed. the course is then a minimum of 30 hours flight training and 125 hours ground training
