proportionate nav??

Hi, ive got myself a little confused. When I come to use prop nav do my 2 checkpoints between my arrival point and destination need to be an equal distance apart. For instance A, checkpoint 1 checkpoint 2 and then B??

If I double the error and hold that for the equal time it took me to fly say from A to 1 then I will resume track. HOWEVER would this work if my checkpoint wasnt exactly an equal distance away from the next??

thanks

I'm starting to worry about you!
Get a sheet of paper, draw the 2 examples you describe and then apply the corrections you calculate and plot them. Look at the results. It is extremely obvious

Answer is yes, as long as it is not past the half-way point (as you would not regain track until after the turning point!).
