proportionate nav??
Hi, ive got myself a little confused. When I come to use prop nav do my 2 checkpoints between my arrival point and destination need to be an equal distance apart. For instance A, checkpoint 1 checkpoint 2 and then B??
If I double the error and hold that for the equal time it took me to fly say from A to 1 then I will resume track. HOWEVER would this work if my checkpoint wasnt exactly an equal distance away from the next?? thanks |

I'm starting to worry about you! Get a sheet of paper, draw the 2 examples you describe and then apply the corrections you calculate and plot them. Look at the results. It is extremely obvious = Answer your own question. |
Answer is yes, as long as it is not past the half-way point (as you would not regain track until after the turning point!).
