Operations Board

Hi All

Does anyone know which companies provide flight ops solutions for small charter companies? We specifically want to improve our Operations board and scheduling which is currently done rather manually on MS Word in our business. Although our current manual system is simple and works very well, we can't display it on a TV screen in different offices easily. Also, I'm getting annoyed with making a new board each month!

Cheers

For small operations the simple way forward is using large white boards that can be hung in the office. You can simply display as much or as little information as you want and can be wiped over for the next week or month. This is usually the most cost effective method for smaller operators and even today some large operators still use this method. One electronic system which might be of interest is called FOS and was recently purchased by Rockwell Collins. If are interested PM me and I will put you in touch with the right person who can help you out.

There are a good number of experienced ops staff who read these boards and have a lot of advice to give. If you want to pay them for their expertise they will give good solutions.
IM me if you'd like some help. I like a challenge.
