hello sir
hello sir
This is vijaykumarreddy ravula and iwant to join the flight dispatch training in ur team and as iam doing my masters in sweden in vaxjo university i want to no more details .
Ever wondered how many active Ops officers and Flight (not ramp) dispatchers we have working into the UK that fall in the potential FOO/Flight Dispacther licensing requirement category? With your help we can get a fairly good idea. ?n this census, or perhaps more accurately- straw poll- can we qualify who is included:
1. Serving operations officers/operations controllers, supervisors and managers or persons who exercise 'operational control' and flight watch over a UK AOC operation. Their duties will be described in Part A of the Operational Manual. Both fixed wing and helicopter operations.
2. Serving Flight Planners or persons who form part of the operational team and whose duties are defined in Part A.
3. Any others whose role includes the provison of operational services to airlines in the UK who would reasonably expect them hold a a licence should it be required. e.g. Ryanair Ops people, flight planning service providers, handling company flight planners or pre-flight breifing. Helicopter operational types who might be included.
(Not included (this time) are crewing, ramp dispatchers, load control agents, apron controllers, those who need to hold a FAA Licence as a result of their duties to US carriers- unless you are also providing ops services UK AOC operators)
Please post details for your airline/company and the number who qualify and their location- I'll add it all up when it the thread runs its course.
e.g. ABC Airlines, Ops Control 23, LGW Based
XYZ Airways, Ops Control 20, Flight Planning 12, STN Based
Who's going to get the ball rolling?? and lets not miss anyone...
