Work experience....

Hello all,

I'm very sorry if this is the wrong area for this - feel free to shout at me!

However, I was hoping I could have a little help, or advice. I'm now 17, studying my AS levels (maths, physics, English language and geography), as well as my PPL. The opportunity, through school has arisen to have a week’s work experience. I was basically wondering if I could be directed to the right person for this. Are there any airlines which offer work experience for a budding pilot, who is striving to become commercial?

I live north of Newcastle, so ideally somewhere at Newcastle would be good. Also, I haven't got any silly expectations of what I would be involved in, but I don't want to be the tea boy for a week - I'd like to be able to talk and work with the pilots.

So, could any of you direct me to the right company, or contact, as well as telling me what the limitations of what I could actually do would be?

Thanks very much,

John Foreman.
