BA 787 red engine covers

Possibly not the right place to ask...

Driving along the LHR Northern Perimeter Road this morning, I noticed several BA 787s with red covers over the front of the engines. I did not see this on other aircraft parked there and don’t recall seeing similar on other 787s. What’s the story?

The BA 787s parked up longish term (due to the engine issues) at the BA base, the big maintenance facility adjacent to Hatton Cross Tube Station/Eastern Perimeter Road (which feeds into the Northern) often sported these covers...Haven't been around there for a few months so not sure if any are still parked up.

If they were parked at T5 I have no idea of the story.

Don't think they have any engines on them in fact, the covers are protecting the pylon and the fan casing.
