Thumbs up B2 A subcateory task privilages

Commission Regulation Nr 1321/2014 of 26 November 2014 Annex III (Part - 66) clause 66.A20.3.II allow B2 licence holder to perform A subcategory tasks. How experience required in 66.A.20(b)2 (6 months maintenance experience in 2 years period) should be calculated? Should the experience counted as additional experience or B2 certifying staff, who holds privilege to perform simple mechanical tasks, should demonstrate 6-month experience performing tasks specified in point 66.A.20(a)(3)(I) and 6-month (1 year in total) experience performing task s specified in point 66.A.20(a)(3)(II)?

Not total 1 year experience, just 6 months experience in 2 years carrying out a range of activities including B2 tasks and A tasks and anything else you are involved in.
The B2 licence holder may be able to apply for authorisation to carry out category A tasks but this is company specific and not automatic, training for each individual task or worksheets may be required too.

Thanks for the prompt answer. Is it specified anywhere in legislation?

Read GM.66.A20(b)2 as well for initial.
B2 will be limited to the aircraft types as endorsed on the license with regards to 66.A.20(3)(ii) Privileges, typical tasks listed in AMC 145.A.30(g)
