B2 A subcateory task privilages
Commission Regulation Nr 1321/2014 of 26 November 2014 Annex III (Part - 66) clause 66.A20.3.II allow B2 licence holder to perform A subcategory tasks. How experience required in 66.A.20(b)2 (6 months maintenance experience in 2 years period) should be calculated? Should the experience counted as additional experience or B2 certifying staff, who holds privilege to perform simple mechanical tasks, should demonstrate 6-month experience performing tasks specified in point 66.A.20(a)(3)(I) and 6-month (1 year in total) experience performing task s specified in point 66.A.20(a)(3)(II)?

The B2 licence holder may be able to apply for authorisation to carry out category A tasks but this is company specific and not automatic, training for each individual task or worksheets may be required too. |

B2 will be limited to the aircraft types as endorsed on the license with regards to 66.A.20(3)(ii) Privileges, typical tasks listed in AMC 145.A.30(g) |
