How many of you experience prob's getting bits that you'd expect there to be loads of from Mr Boeing?

Example, so far there's about 3'500 737's been built but they can't supply L/E slat wedges for a -400!!!

That's because they haven't built a 400 for some years now and don't have a infintessimal amount of storage space to keep such things in.

none the less if they build the planes they should be able to supply the bits in a reasonable time - not the 300days they quoted for a slat wedge!! My other half has a 1973 VW Beetle and I can still get bits for it!
