Stall Trigger question...

Hey Guys.

Flying a hawker 800 and have a question.
The stall triggers on the leading edge of the wing. I can't find anything written about them or their purpose. I can only assume that their only purpose is to cause the wing root to stall prior to the tip. I would like to get some input before doing a stall test. It seems both triggers were re-adjusted to zero as they were a bit loose, and I am wondering what could I expect in such a situation when the triggers weren't adjusted properly.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Preferably pilots who have experience with this situation.

I don't know the Hawker 800, but have a lot of experience of flight testing and certifying similar systems.

Can you give a reference to the design, or post some pictures?
