UK CAA Part 66 Application
Hey,
Just saw this:
[COLOR="red"]"If your experience has been gained outside an EASA 145 Maintenance Organisation then you will be unable to proceed with your application at this present time. If you require more information or guidance on what to do next please email [email protected]"
can anyone explain? did not see this before.
Thanks

Recorded OJT as required for an initial licence application must be carried out within a Part 145 Organisation, however one point to note is that the tasks do not have to be carried out on member state aircraft, for example a Part 145 Organisation may additionally also hold FAA Repair Station Approvals or OTAR approvals, so in this case you may record tasks carried out on N, M, VP registered aircraft, provided that the Organisation itself is Part 145 Approved and that the maintenance is carried out in accordance with the MOE and approved procedures.
