Rumour has it that Lufthansa Technik are about to buy Jet Aviation Basel !!!!!

Just had a meet with some LHT folks and brought this point up, they have not heard about this within the company..... doesn't mean it is rumour, but these guys are a pretty good source.

To be honest , can not see it being worth their while, they have a large chunk of the BBJ market already and are looking for more wide body capability...ie the aquistion of PAL in MNL and expansion of Ameco in BEJ.
