Exclamation Need some answers, Pleeease!!

Dear All.

I wish to become an Engineer and have found out about courses and so forth. But there are some holes that need filling.

I am in full time work and need to be so the only option of study is 'home', I have opted for Licence by Post. Once I have passed all the modules in Jar 66 'B1/2', can I get a job as a mechanic to gain my experience?

I work at the airport so getting experience is no problem, but I would rather be paid for it as a Mechanic than to just do a few hours a week in the engineering office!!

Any advice guys without going into Jar 147 and refering me to the JAA website (read it all about 5 times over).

Also has anyone here studied for the Jar's at home, how long does it take?

Thanks very much in advance for all your help.
