Mann aviation group engineering and Alan Mann helicopters.
Does anyone have any up to date information on the situation at Fairoaks?
It seems things are starting to become interesting again.

Longmint is the issue
Hi
Not sure if you have read the thread on rotorheads dealing with East Anglian Air Ambulance.
It is worth a read as it discusses the issues asscoiated with Sterling, MAGE, Alan Mann Helicopters, FAST and LONGMINT.

Anything which happens to AMH will NOT affect the operation of the airport which is operated by a totally different company. I understand Mann Engineering and AMH have gone into receivership (Not confirmed)

This is on the Alan Mann website
Nigel Geoffrey Atkinson of Begbies Traynor (Central) LLP and Philip Francis Duffy of MCR

The joint administrators act as agents of the company without personal liability

The deadline for sealed bids has apparently passed; I'm told (unconfirmed) that one of the bidders is -- Longmint!!!
Stop Press 30 May:
According to a thread in Rotorheads, GAMA have purchased MAGE.

GAMA took over MAGE (not AMH) on tue 31 May; apparently they had to get a couple of high court rulings (eg who owns the lease to the hangars) but all went in their favour.
Don't know their intentions ie what type of traffic, but I'm told the staff are much happier now.

Don't know full details, but Longmint are apparently prepared to go to trial to stop GAMA taking over, so the saga continues with GAMA operating as the agents of the receivers/administrators.
High Court found in favour of GAMA last friday (19th).
Amended: See 'Rotorheads' for the full ruling.
