Mann aviation group engineering and Alan Mann helicopters.
Does anyone have any up to date information on the situation at Fairoaks?
It seems things are starting to become interesting again. |
Longmint is the issue
Hi
Not sure if you have read the thread on rotorheads dealing with East Anglian Air Ambulance. It is worth a read as it discusses the issues asscoiated with Sterling, MAGE, Alan Mann Helicopters, FAST and LONGMINT. |
Anything which happens to AMH will NOT affect the operation of the airport which is operated by a totally different company. I understand Mann Engineering and AMH have gone into receivership (Not confirmed)
|
Is It MAGE that has gone into alledged receivership, or Longmint (Aviation,)
therefore affecting Sterling etc. |
yesterday was told business as usual at Mage.Fixed wing 145 approval has been reinstated.
Sterling are due a winding up order i believe. |
With all that has/is going on, what is normal?
|
Was told MAGE went into admin 21/4/11, administrators are Begbies Traynor of EC3,
|
This is on the Alan Mann website
Nigel Geoffrey Atkinson of Begbies Traynor (Central) LLP and Philip Francis Duffy of MCR were appointed joint administrators of Mann Aviation Group (Engineering) Limited on 10th May 2011. The joint administrators act as agents of the company without personal liability |
Some 'dark suits' hanging about outside MAGE today; any update?
|
Dark suits hanging about ! had the dry cleaning bill been paid ?
|
Any one know how the reported high noon deadline went?
As they didn't pay all the wages and pensions etc dry cleaning must be way way down the list. |
The deadline for sealed bids has apparently passed; I'm told (unconfirmed) that one of the bidders is -- Longmint!!!
Stop Press 30 May: According to a thread in Rotorheads, GAMA have purchased MAGE. |
GAMA took over MAGE (not AMH) on tue 31 May; apparently they had to get a couple of high court rulings (eg who owns the lease to the hangars) but all went in their favour.
Don't know their intentions ie what type of traffic, but I'm told the staff are much happier now. |
Another High Court hearing wed 8th, decision deferred until wed 15th.
|
Don't know full details, but Longmint are apparently prepared to go to trial to stop GAMA taking over, so the saga continues with GAMA operating as the agents of the receivers/administrators.
|
High Court hearing starts today and is scheduled to run for 4 days, meantime GAMA are the agents appointed by the receiver/administrator for 6 months.
|
The owner of a certain R44 removed it from Fairoaks the other day; AMH had been using it for training and the rumour is they hadn't paid the owner
|
Sterling Helicopters Norwich has gone bust another of the MAG (longmint) companies.
|
High Court found in favour of GAMA last friday (19th).
Amended: See 'Rotorheads' for the full ruling. |
