yuk

You will fit in if your an XL airways reject.
The Tech director M.H. has a history of screaming and shouting at staff/others.
MCC are control freaks, and in a dream world....and technically inept with a blame culture.
.....not forgetting technically inept/useless/inexperienced INDIANS.

99% of the pilots are good guys.....

ANENG, why carry on in Dubai if you find it so hard to live with Indians? You into swimming with sharks?

very funny . . .

Let's see what we have here:

1) http://www.pprune.org/engineers-tech...gineering.html, the thread you started with the post

Here we engineers are.....
Compulsory overtime,
Not able to take lieu time,
Not able to take leave,
Shortage of engineers,
Taking anywhere from 9 months to 2 years to gain company approval due to the GCAA,
People leaving due to management ignorance of the current situation (more aircraft arriving, less staff),
Favouratism towards "engineers" from India (Lots of management/ job allocators are Indian) so we get Ridiculous job allocations and shat on regularly.
and before you say "at least you have a job".....believe me...its really not worth the effort.....SANITY IS BETTER THAN WORKING FOR A CRAP COMPANY.

2) Previous posts on topics relating to B737
3) Unhappy with Fly Dubai MCC - not many of us have contact with them
4) Unhappy with GCAA for delays in converting license

"Jewbi more than 2-3 times a year"??? Oh come on, pull the other one

Is that fear I smell? With the blood you have left in the water let alone a shark even a "dumb ass jingly" can find you, and life could get very interesting when that happens.

Hence my question.

Oh I dunno.
It's a bit like watching naked mud wrestling, entertaining but makes a heck of a mess and you wouldn't want to take either of em home to mother.

OK. Here's the deal. Either these childish and stupid attitudes get stopped or a good few of you will be banned. Two or three have already had the pleasure. Geddit?

Changing your username fools nobody - especially the mods.

1800 views and not one reply I guess no one works for them or either the terms are great and don't wish to upset anyone or they are real bad and wish not to say either way a PM would be nice.

I am not bumping the topic for the sake of it.. just looking for answers to the questions mentioned above...

How is the pay like? If you are a grad or a B1?

Can anybody who has attended an assessment at flydubai help out with what goes on at the day. Interview tips?

He's probably right about that. The "Tasmanian Devil" has a history of shouting and screaming at people throughout his career. Doubt he's changed

The last we heard here on the market, was around 27K AED all inclusive, so no schooling on top.

As they have only NG not much in license allowance. All in all only an option if you in desperately need for a job.

Missed the fight :(

Working in Dubai from my past few months experience: (my company will remain nameless, unless someone mentions the name and request information)

1- all the stuff you hear about favoritism are true, and the term for it in this region is WASTA. it's simply the culture here.
2.Indians are all over this place which means:
a. no work ethics.
b.no work standards.
c.you'll most likely be abused by your management, cuz these ppl never stand for them selves, thus the management already have a habit of abusing employees.
e.the more work you do and dedication you show will result in more work and abuse, thus more chance of doing mistakes etc.
3.Piece of advice, if you are going for anyone but the major league players like EK, ET and QR (ADAT and Flydubai might be an exception since they are the 2 new raising stars)then don't freaken think of coming, unless u r a newbie like me and need your experience badly. Even then leave space for giving up cuz the things they expect to compromise here are just too much(didn't happen to me yet but apparently all the older staff suffered)
NOTE: if you stand up for yourself which is something you'll probably do if you have any shred of dignity. then they'll play the old WITCH card on you and in this case attitude

For the assessment, you will sit a 737 test relevant to the position you applied for, if you pass that you will then have a one to one interview.
