Well it is a bit more complicated than that. Airbus did not suddenly change to an enhanced A320. The differences between a 1988 A320 and a 2010 A320 have been introduced over time. There was no sudden change (yet)
Yes the LCD screens and their new control panel are very visible, but new brakes, new FMS, engine updates etc have slowly trickled in.
You will see that yr company has to issue a news sheet with every new delivery showing the diff from the last aircarft.
The best way is to select the ser number when you go in the manuals every time, then you get the right info for the aircraft you are working on.

... unless AI has f***ed up the documentation...

A330/A340 OPC of THSA - wrong degrees for the THSA response in AMM
A330/A340 MLG installation - wrong tolerances (0.04 to 0.4mm on the connections in the shortening mechanism made me suspicious, especially as the data were JUST revised - revised wrongly, it turned out)
A320 with Yellow Hyd for NWS - green and only green shown in ATA 12

Seems to happen a bit more often than in earlier days...

There are some visible differences from the A320 classic to the latest ones like the cargo doors design, brakes, cabin crew interface panel at door 1R, cockpit LCD screens. And the latest ones have white lights on the radio transmission panel.
