What do you mean by "cancelled"?

Are BA Engineering shutting down line stations again?

Hope not.

Aaah, you'll be referring to BA CityFlyer then, not BA?

First, AMS is BA Engineering's most profitable line station. It would be the last to close.

Second BA and Cityflyer are separate organisations. Very few BA line stations look after Citiflyer aircraft. It is often contracted out to a local eng co.

I do believe you refer to CityFlyer.

No the route is not being axed...as far as I'm aware.....

As for the contract for line maintenance, I believe there was a clause in the contract to the effect that if the maintenance provider was strapped for manpower then certain line maintenance items could be deferred until the aircraft returned to UK base. I believe the company maybe got fed up with the almost nightly application of said clause , and is re-negotiating the contract.
