How correct you are snr lame
The Red Rat Bean Counters are only interested in $$$$$$ ie
Bonuses for lower/middle/upper management and Dixon who should have been sacked for his sell-out stance in the takeover bid.
Time to start looking for a new job as they (The Red Rat) will eventually take maintenance o/s
Record profits year after year and its not enough to reward its employees

It's unfortunate, but it's reality.
Companies are getting more analysis financially.
One of the big pieces of any airlines expenditure is engineering and maintenance.
The world is getting smaller and same time outsourcing is proving worthwhile.
Call centre's in India! Seems to be working but i really don't know the stats.
So how to reduce that piece of the exp's pie, E and M?
Easy, get rid of it.
However, it's all about $$$ so maybe start looking into at least investing in the companies that are going to take over it, as it is good financial sense. Recent purshase of an MRO fully equipped to do all of fleet except for the ones present being done across the causeway.
Respected aviators like Dick have actually been paid to come up with the idea of lowering the level till things start to happen.
It's business, only a few columns to think about, IN, OUT and RESULT.
