Human Factors Certificates are required to certify work on EU/EASA aircraft.

You need to show you have attended and passed a course in the effects and causes of Human Factors in Aircraft Maintenance and Inspections.
(I'm pretty sure the US even invented the blinking phrase?)

HF certificate

Hi guys, thanks so much for that information, I was wondering apart from google searching, does anybody have any clues how to obtain or in applying for one of these certificates, training or something??
or is it just a very long shot if you are not a certified engineer! the interest we have is in VIP cabin interiors, inspectors.. no engineering qaulifications but plenty of experience and knowledge in completion and delivery of new business jets to owners. We are still blonde but getting more brunette as the answers are coming in !!
I appreciate your feedback, kind regards 747sp

HF

Ok just googled it!! there are 2 day courses up in Scotland, or 2 year courses at Cranfield this is really for engineers though, I think the 2 day course may suffice for Cabin Interiors!! will update.... :-) thanks again.

Info not advertising.....

Courses are listed, from time to time, on Aviation Job Search, Future Training (futuretraining.net) runs courses, and there's a FASS Course for Contractors, although they are not planning any at the moment..there are others.....

Angel HF Courses

Any-one who is involved in aircraft maintenance as part of an EASA Part 145 appproved organisation has to receive some level of HF training.

Courses can be customised to meet your requirements, some people need a two day course and some can get by with a 1 day course.

Contact Angel Training (www.angeltrainingsystems.co.uk) who have also done some of this stuff and will happily tailor a course to suit you.

Human factors is a requirement for working in a Part 145 organisation however it is the company's reponsibility to ensure all its staff have had the adequate training.
It is only a Part 66 requirement for initial issue of licence. Some companies demand that you do their HF course. You might need to make sure that the one you do is acceptable to that 145 organisation however most will accept any as it saves them paying for it themselves.
