Please help to identify component.

Hi, i wonder if anyone has come across this component. It is linkage of a landing gear. but does anyone know specifically its functions or name. Thanks.

exact dimensions i am not sure but the length is around 2 feet long. Material is steel. Part number i am also not sure

I'm pretty sure its from a 737 MLG. Found on the front of the shock strut and connects to the lower side brace, to the inner MLG door, and also holds the roller for the uplock. If I'm right I believe it's called a universal side strut fitting.

You are Spot on LPS500,
It connects the Side strut, Drag strut and shock strut.

LPS500 is absolutely correct.
I find this UNIVERSAL ASSY in our AIPC at 32-11-42-01A

Item 25
- 65-46106-8 or
- 65-46106-10 or
- 65-46106-12
The PN of your picture looks like a dash 5.
So it must be the same part but i do not know if they are interchangeable.

The term "bogus part" comes up in my mind when i read this kind of question.

But OK.

"explaining" this component:
It connects "shock strut", "drag strut", "side strut" and the inner door with the "uplock roller" who hold the gear up in flight.

and the newer planes like:
ENG (even[or enhanced] newer generation)
NTENG (newer then even[or enhanced] newer generation)
FG (final generation)
AFG (absolut final generation)

Its a 1st Generation Nano-Mechanical centrifugal connecting rod, with side linear/bi-linear/de-polarising mechanical interfacing rotary converting pistons, commonly used on Tie-Fighters (limited GTI ediions only).

Since it is a "Universal Assembly" you shouldn't you be able to use it anywhere, on any aircraft?
