Unhappy Flaperons/A300

Can someone confirm for me that I correctly remember the A300B4 having I/B flaperons mech linked to the flaps, so I assume the A310 has as well .Did the first A300B1s have them cheers.

My dusty memory seems to think that i/b (hi-spd) ailerons on the B4 had a droop mechanism similar to the A310 that was hyd controlled also (A310 hyd droop sig comes from slat extend hyd line). They were not mechanically connected in the physical sense from memory. On A310, both ailerons droop (6 or 11 degrees, depending on whether -200 or -300 a/c) to accentuate lift when flaps extended. This does not alter function of the ailerons, only redatums their zero position. Try watching the flt ctl ecam page as you put the slats out, and notice the ail zero bar move down to suit.

The A300B4 has a system were the inboard ailerons (all speed) are connected to the flaps so with 8 flap set the i/b ailerons droop 8* and with 15 flap they droop 10* for take off. the all speed ailerons disconnect with slat retract.

Duct recovery,
is this a physical connection, or a hyd signal from somewhere? I have not worked on them for some time but am current on the 310 & -600.
Cheers

Mice, it is a mechanical connection.
The flap drive shaft goes thru a droop signal unit, which causes the all speed aileron to droop 9 degrees with flap 8 and 10 degrees with flap 15.
