Lightbulb JAR 66 Questions

A question of heat shrink tubing - Exciting I know !

When using heat shrink tubing the heat gun is set

1. Slightly below heat shrink value for tube
2. At heat shrink Value
3. Above the shrink value

Any ideas ?

The answer is at heatshrink value, but I canīt give you the reference right now.

I had this question for module 7, the good old airbus (A300/310) MM's say the temp should be set above (100C) the heat shrink temp. Hope this helps

How's this for blind guess theory:
Set below and you'll never shrink it.
Set at shrink value and you'll be there all day if the heat gets absorbed by the conductor or blown away when someone leaves the hangar doors open.
Set above and it's got to shrink.
Good luck with the exam.
