AME licence to JAR 66 B1
Hello
I'm a Canadian AME M2 licence holder who is looking into getting the JAR 66 B1 licence. Can anyone tell me how to proceed. Also, how many exams does it involve and where do I have to go to write them
Thanks!

Chilkoot,I am sure you do not want to hear this but as Canada is not a member of the JAA you will have to take(and pass) every Module as if you have no license at all, there are no exemptions at all.I know you will probably not believe it(I know I did"nt) so contact the UK CAA and they will confirm it.You may also want to post the same question on www.airmech.co.uk
sorry to bring the bad news.If you decide you wish to continue contact air service training in Perth (Scotland) i think their site is airservicetraining.co.uk
Best regards

Thanks for the info matkat
I still wanna proceed with the JAR 66, I'll jump trough all the hurdles if I have to. I know others have done the same. I will check out the links.
