Seabee Air
Wondering if any kiwis out there know if there is any books that may have been published on the history of SeaBee Air?
Have fond memories of Widgons operating out of BOI and Auckland.
Any old pilots out there still who worked for them, guess it must have been happy days, even though I suspect the pay wasnt the best...about the best fun anyone could have with wings?
Sea bee Air went under (excuse the pun) after I left NZ for new horizons and a career in the airline industry in the UK.

I know there is one in the pipeline, however I cannot recall by whom. It is covering TATs early Mt Cook and SeeBee.
the impression I get is that it is not due for about another year.

Fred Ladd wrote a book about early Widgeon and Goose operations but it dosent have much info on See Bee Air.
Still a few pilots and engineers dotted around the place.
ZK-AVM is in the Aerotech Hangar at Ardmore getting a birthday.

Thanks Split Flap, do you have any other NZ titles that are worth a good read about the good old days, running short of material here and feeling a little homesick......
