Got to love the rego.

N707JT

Have to admit QF really hit the mark with the publicity on this one. Top billing on Current Affair this evening.

Job well done guys.

I think they could have hit the mark had they not bug*ered up so much.

I have a friend who drove from CBR to see the landing. Another drove from PQQ. They are seriously annoyed that the plane had arrived without warning the night before.

And it seems that QF didn't even bother telling the media who arrived at 11am to film the landing. I feel sorry for the PR people who had to go out and tell them that in fact he landed the night before.

The short comment at the end of today's article in the Australian I think shows that the reporters didn't think much of the organisation either...

Thumbs up

I think in Joe Publics eye they have hit the mark big time!
People have to remember its not running a scheduled operation and things can change I guess.

Whilst on the topic, a Virgin Blue ad in todays NT News which borders on being a tad cheeky...

"JOHN TRAVOLTA
SAYS QANTAS
IS GREAT

HE'S A BETTER
ACTOR THAN
WE THOUGHT. "

Is N707JT coming through Darwin???

Wink

So great were its advantages that Qantas modified its existing 707-138 fleet with the turbo-fans. With the arrival of its first 138B series aircraft, Qantas called its Boeings V-Jets, from the Latin "vannus", meaning fan. Two more were ordered in 1963
Googled
