Caravan Range?
Just wondering as a matter of interest whats the range on the Caravan cause I heard one of the Cooly based ones get clearance tonight from Brisbane to Mt Isa direct, certainly has to be a fairly long haul sector in the Caravan!

Could be done with a sharp pencil! Headwinds above ten thousand...but eight would work OK. Would have to ignore variable reserve and limit fixed reserve to thirty minutes.

The 600 hp shortbody caravan plans and burns 320 pph@ those levels therefore the flight is very comfortable in a C208a .The wonders of modern technology.Sure beats the old piston floggers.
