Comfy old girls they were too. We started with 6 I think.
The others must have been farmed off I guess.
2 were fitted with centre wing bag tanks for the NLK run.
Shame to see them parked.

Yup EWL, EWR/S were the 2 with the extra tanks, had a few rides on em out to NLK from BN, always heaps of fuel to spare with full tanks of 10.2 ton with a burn of 5.5 to get out there About 15 odd seats were always not available for the payload problems. I think EWR is at BN not sure of the others, I know there is 3 146s in BN but one is JJQ.

Thanks puff
NLK was always a payload sacrifice port and probably still is due to the distance to alternates.
The 300 in 96 seat config was the most comfy aeroplane I have flown in economy anywhere.
Nearly as good as being in 2 A or B on an EW F28.

Gawd I am getting old puff.
Remember EWR as an F27-500.
Port side loading rear locker too from memory. The cargo door in the bog and 55okg outsize rear locker.
A total b@stard for a quick turnaround.
