Cool

"your information (is) incorrect" - is that right, Oicur? Perhaps YOU'D better re-check YOUR source!!

You'll also notice that my post WAS edited - in fact, I couldn't see ANY problem with publishing the names of the ex-Ansett pilots who have found work, but Woomera has accomodated your request (I think that was a request - "unless Woomera does something shortly") .........after all, the original title of this thread was, "Ansett pilots - where are they now"!

But then again there may be some (6 of the 11) who don't like seeing their OWN names!

TD, save your money - a "shandy" isn't on my list of drinks - I doubt that you could afford my "pleasure".
And yes, Japan IS a lovely place. Save your pennies and try visiting there some time.
Keep looking.

Thoroughly enjoyed working in Oz in 89. Hope you all find work soon, you may have to pay for the odd interview though. Of course if AN were still going .......

Maybe it's time for Kaptin's real name to be exposed seeing as he is so free with others. ?

Any takers ?

Strobes_On,

Check the previous postings on this thread and it will give you a good clue to the name of this person. If you had worked within AN in BNE at the dispute time all you had to do was look who was an FO on the 767 at that time and remember who was one of the most millitant and you have the answer straight away. His name has been dropped by a number of his once friends at SQ who are totally fed up with the ravings of this person as they too agree it is time to give all this rubbish up. I would not lower my self to his level by giving his name but adding a few points yourself will give it to you. When will he realise perpetuating his hatred is a lost cause and except for his own little group its been over for years.

I could pass on Kaptin M's name and phone number but it would be pointless.

He has done nothing but list some ex AN drivers leaving for employment overseas. If this makes him feel smart then so be it.

Thumbs down

Geez, the power some people have when they know who other contributors to PPRUNE are.

The Kaptin probably is very well aware that others on this forum would know who he is. i have people of this forum call me 'Keg' on Qrewroom and 'Tony' on here (go figure! ).

Whilst in this forum you may not be using your real name as your handle (except perhaps for Dick Smith and a few others) it is hardly a position of strength to be saying to someone else 'I know who you are'. I mean, are we six years old and going to 'dob'!

From an outsiders point of view, ANFO wanted to know who was working, Kap M has been one of the few to respond with any real information. The only way some idiots can repay that is to threaten to 'out' him and brag that they 'know who he is'. What a pack of morons.

I don't often lose the plot on here but fair dinkum, we are supposed to be professionals. With his history, the Kaptin could really have responded to this thread quite differently to what he did but I think he was quite magnimonious about it all.

G'day Kap, hope things are well and you are enjoying the sport up there.

Well, it is interesting isn't it ? On another thread someone wanted to know where John Howell was. No bleating from oicur12 or anybody else about names being mentioned etc etc..

On this thread when someone mentions names and answers the threads question all hell breaks loose. Now why is that ?
