Bugger..Bendo would be furious.
And thats where my mates Winjeel will be too.
The Scone Home Page says they might have the F16s there anyway.....Hmm working out how to get from Amberley to Scone.
Lets see, 7 degrees of latitude x 60 = 350nm/Hertz Rentacar >= Coriolis~Planck constant, mutter, mutter, +/- Chandrasekar Limit to the 11th power going towards 'n', where 'n' is the number of PPRuners who can dance on the head of the new PPRuNe badge, here lend me that confuser for a mo........., ah.. I don't spose anybody is going to be flying down that way, just in case this doesn't work out.

Now I'm in for that IF I can get back from the states in time.....gaunty..... NBAA is on New Orleans around late September, and that's one hell of an airshow, albeit only commercial stuff, but it's me one favourite per year....would be good to go back to the old base....I wonder if they will have the p1ss shack open for me

Fellow PPruners,
Certainly sounds like a big weekend! I will be working / staying out there the whole time, and if there is enough interest, I could look into organising an appropriate venue for a few beers - potentially the O's mess, or even one of our maintenance hangars. Not sure what's going to be on offer as far as public bars go, but if it's anything like Avalon, probably not much. Something on the base or squadron side might be more comfortable.
Will find out and advise options....
