A trucking tycoon by the name of Ryan in Sydney apparently purchased at least one and has it operating somewhere in Fiji or South Pacific.. .. .(Reference: Worldliners Mag Jan 2002)

I understand that the 3 F-28's will soon be heading north to join the PX fleet.

That would be EWA,EWB and EWC I believe. They only had the three unless you count the shell that used to be parked out the back.. .. .Edited for late night spelling syndrome.. . . . [ 10 March 2002, 12:42: Message edited by: Theo Racle ]

The shell was the ex Iran Air F100 that crashed over that way when it ran out of fuel. Guess they don't have to worry about the noise of the F28s in New Guinea! For F28s I think they are pretty young

Last Monday (11th) there were 6 Flight West Brasilia's parked at BN. 4 were still in full Flight West colours, the other 2 had the green tail but no sun ( 1 was VH-TLZ, the leased aircraft). XFZ was parked on bay 30 operating the BN-GLA route, 2 aircraft were parked near the Pearl hangar and the rest in front of the Flight West hangar. Flight West only had 7 Brasilia's, so it appears the only aircraft that has gone from BN is XFW.
