Laurie is still there - now operating out of the old post office next to Galaxy. KXI lives on - must have trained a few pilots in its day. Looking good with fresh paint.

Slasher et al. .. .Noel and Mrs Noel are still both well and living happily in Melbourne.. .. .If you want his email address I am sure it can be arranged as I'm sure he would appreciate knowing where his protege are and what they are doing.

Gaunty, I remember, often, Noel advising us that any relevance in anything we learned when studying for the then SCPL Nav & Flight PLanning ($0.50 cents per exam in them days!!!!)was purely coincidental.. .. .How right he was. . .. .He could work out a rough PNR or CP, for a multi stage flight, in the good 'ole Seagul Mk IV in about 5 minutes flat.. .. .He'd then have us spend about 30 odd minutes, or more, refining it so that we could get the 'correct' answer, which would vary by about 10nm for PNR or a coupla minutes for the CP!. .. .Ah, the good old days!

OB, I'm sure he's told many a warie over the years, the two best ones that spring to mind are causing an F/A to barf all over a radio operator and another about the futile attempt, due to turbulence, of a WAAF trying to use a PRT!
