Post Gee it's a bit breezy in here...........

Anyone know what's gone on here??????????

From abc.net.au....

CASA probes incident where window falls from plane. An investigation is underway into an incident above the Jandakot Airport where a window fell from a plane.

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority and Transport Safety Bureau are investigating the incident in which a half-kilogram emergency exit window crashed down on a property in the southern Perth suburb of Success.

The Royal Aero Club, which owns the plane says an emergency release mechanism on the window of the twin-engine Piper Seminole popped out during take-off.

The club's general manager John Douglas says the pilot turned back to land immediately, but the window came lose and fell to the ground before the plane landed.

Never forget cruising at 10k in the B58 sitting fat dumb and happy and then I near sh*t myself. Bang wind noise what the f**k one of the pax had inadvertantly bumped the emergency exit and pop..... Thankfully it remained on the ac.

Remember a 402B dropped one in Kakadu....

Be a bit like the scene from The Gods Must Be Crazy depending on where it landed...

Engine out. I had the exact same thing happen to me.... only it was on my very first solo circuit in it! Bloody hell, i was yawing all over the place trying to close it, i eventually managed on finals. Landed to a small crowd of instructors wondering what i was up to.
"The door opened!" i said
"Yeah they'll do that" and they promptly walked off without any hesitation.
