Talking Sunstate Airlines plans for 2002

Hi guys,

Have been invited to attend a cabin crew interview with Sunnies in early January, however 2 work colleagues have been given starting dates around that time also for the next f/a ground school.

My question is...how many new aircraft are on the way for Sunstate ? How many aircraft in the fleet now ? Does anyone know if they are looking to put applicants in a waiting pool again or are they need crew right away ?

Any advice appreciated from you Sunstate chaps out there.

Merry Xmas
Cabinboy

I don't know anything about what is goin on with Sunnies but...

A Dash-8, 300 series past through Alice today for fuel on its ferry flight to Tamworth before it goes online with what I am told is Sunstate..

It had fresh paint on it which was apparently done at Lufthansa only a day ago..
already with a red tail and white RAT.

Cheers.

Thanks for the info

Ultra, I'm not ex AN, I am actually ground staff QF so your probably still right in saying the pay will be a shock ! ...but ..i'm in it for the job. F/A conditions are bound to deteriorate in any position in OZ anyway so basically it's which ever one hires me.
