QF 1 Diverts to Mumbai - Air Rage ?

Monitoring Mumbai VHF 132.7 a few hours ago and heard QF 1 reqeusting diversion and landing in VABB to offload a "handcuffed" unruly pax.( maybe he/she was not impressed by the "new" boxed lunch). Now THAT would have been interesting once on the ground !.

I think that after 11th September, all airlines should adopt a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards these idiots!! Regardless of cost, get them off the aircraft immediately and prosecute them to the full extent of the law. Maybe after seeing such measures adopted, these morons will finally realise that an airline ticket is not a permission slip to turn into a psychopath!!

Not a biggie, Feral, but could it have been QF6? Know a bloke who was on that one the other night who did the "cuffing" and diverted. All fairly routine, if that is possible.

Well, I reckon it will have taught the bloke a lesson and sent a good message to others, 'cos being slung into an Indian Dungeon in BOM, will definitely sober the ****** up quicksmart.!!
It will also have cost QF a dollar or two.
Wonder if there is any chance of collecting it off the bloke's credit card.?? That'll do nicely sir.!!
