No Lockout for VB in Darwin.
I guess they have to win one every now and again.
Virgin to have full access to facilities at Darwin Airport.
The owners of Darwin Airport say Virgin Blue will have no problem accessing facilities when the airline begins services to Darwin later this month.
Ansett administrators denied Virgin terminal access at Canberra and Launceston over the weekend when the airline tried to use facilities previously used by Ansett.
NT Airport's Ian Kew says there are common user facilities at Darwin Airport capable of servicing Virgin Blue even if Ansett was to recommence flights to Darwin.
"The lease arrangements here are quite different to those that might apply in other airports so we'll be able to give Virgin Blue access to passenger counter space, baggage handling facilities and everything else they'll require," Mr Kew said.

Ban on terminal use still on.
Virgin Blue says it will have to continue operating out of a tent at the Launceston Airport, until Ansett lifts its terminal ban.
Ansett's administrators are still refusing to let Virgin use its terminal facilities for its new early morning flight.
Virgin is only allowed to use the facilities for its midday service.
Virgin's chief of commercial operations, David Huttner, says he is confident the airline will overcome this latest obstacle.
