Just one question:

Bristow has been advertising for co-pilots a fair bit lately. Has anyone had an interview or got anywhere with them or knows whats going on in there?

Well BJ,
The reason that Bristows are constantly advertising for cojoes is due to the fact they want you to be one for 5yrs. This is what they offered me when I had 2000hrs on type as a cojoe already. Additionally you have to live in Perth (which is not all that bad)and you have to commute for 2wks on and 2 off. They have very unrealistic expectations for cojoes as they say you may be considered for a command after 5 years. Anyone who who has been in aviation for any amount of time can tell you 5yrs is a lifetime. Who really can guarantee that they will even have the demand for pilots or the current contracts they hold at that time? <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">
