QF testing?

Anyone else in this boat?

I had an app in with QF and was waiting for a call to do testing when Ansett collapsed. Have any non-Ansett people done testing for direct entry since Sep 14?

Anyone got any news when non-Ansett people may get a look in?

dh, i believe that qantas is almost done with ex-ansett crew. i have heard from sources on 'the other side' that recruiting is still going strong and that ga pilots will soon be back on the agenda. all second hand info but maybe sometime soon i will be able to give you first hand info.

From 1st hand experience GA guys are on courses and will be - there is no preference for Ansett pilots but there are quite a few of them around at the moment. Things are very busy at the moment with recruitment at max in anticipation of busy times to come.

I know that they're recruiting as a few of my friends have got in recently but they all did their testing prior to Sep 14.

Anyone know of any ga or mil pilots getting tested post Sep 14?

Would make an interesting Anti-Discrimination case if it could be proven that only ex-Ansett pilots were being interviewed post Sept 14.....
