Metro endorsement
Hi all
I am looking for the best deal for a command Metro 3 endorsement preferably getting a bit more time on type than the 5 hrs initial. Would be great to consolidate the endorsement with ICUS or whatever??.
Preferably around Sydney but if the price is right, I will come on down.
thanks

Does anyone have the contact details for Horizon and Transair? I had a look on the net, but came up empty. A name to go with a phone number would be appreciated.
Thanks guys

A word of caution to anyone considering a Metro endorsement. Currently Brisbane is flooded with Metro pilots(kendall, hazo, plus others..), including Transair to my knowledge, they will gladly (more than likely)do an endorsement for you, but at the end of the day the chance of work is very very small(like none!), if you have already secured a job, all well and good. But if this is an attempt to improve your current situation due to the goings on in aviation I would seriously reconsider.... your choice, but if I was you I'd save the $8 - $10,000.

Good advice Williamsf1. However, there has always been a glut of metro drivers in BNE and you often need to be on the spot to succeed. More often it is a matter of "if the face fits" as much as anything.
So, go Ralf and either way things are looking good for Williams in 2002 as it is time we had a new champion(sorry Ferrari).

obviously u gotta do what u gotta do , but i implore you to try and do your ICUS somewhere other then transair . There are 2 blokes doing ICUS there at the moment , and whenever there are people doing ICUS it always screws over countless other pilots work . Its not particularly easy for them to survive on as little as 150 bucks a fortnight

Thanks for the info. I would consider doing a different endorsement(turbine) if I thought it would be more advantageous but the Metro seems to be the most common.
I suppose therefore more Metro pilots waiting for jobs!
I always say if you dont have it you cant use it, so a Metro endorsement in the pocket may be handy when that right time comes along.
cheers
