fish Help

Maybe you ppruners can help me, I need to fly from Perth to London (return) in about five to six weeks time, Which airline is least expensive since I'm a poorly paid GA pilot! Oh, we also need the quickest route available - I have a little one year old to contend with on board!

usually something like Thai, or Garuda.. .Don't know about the quickest route, but going via USA you get a greater baggage allowance.

If you can wait till August, and if the flight is not too full of staff pax, EK will be the quickest, cheapest and best way to go.. .Don

Bakerman,. .. .Unfortunately your two requirements are mutually exlusive. The cheapest is probably Royal Brunei but with a six hr stopover in Bandar Seri Begawan[spelling?] and an early a.m. stop in Abu Dabi you will arrive in Heathrow feeling like crap. I know this from experience.. .. .QANTAS, Singapore and Malaysian all have good connections and a non stop flight through to London. Prices can vary widely.. .. .My advice is to check somewhere like Perth Flight Centre and also at least three other travel agents. Not sure whether we are in a peak, shoulder or off-season at the moment but I doubt you will get much change from $2400AUD per adult ticket.

AS stated above, cheap = crap connections. Having flown the route with kids MANY times in the last ten years I can advise dont just look at the $$$$, you get what you pay for. Try CX, usually a good price and have good connections ex Hong Kong
