Aerocost is a good basic operating cost model but clearly it only covers direct operating costs. Selling costs and other overheads (land/building leases, computer systems, sales labour etc) are not covered by the model. . .. .Note that the airport data base is out of date as for example international landing fees at Sydney have increased by over 100% since the model was last updated. Many other airports have also moved their costs dramatically.
