Fatal crash at Latrobe Valley - 28/09/01
Was told that a "single engined aircraft" came to grief today at LTV. Apparently one 40 year old POB, departed EN on training flight.
Anyone know any more ?
Condolences to the friends and family of the victim.

As far as I know, the pilot was the owner of the 172 and was on his second solo navex. Therefore, he was on his own, ie. ABC's 4POB not accurate. Apparently on a go-around when he stalled and crashed.
