Would you help produce a UK ATC for FS2002?
Anybody want to help me banish some the 'yanks' from our most popular Flight Sim?
I'm a professional sound engineer and have started to produce a 'UK English ATC' for FS2002. I will have to make this a 'commercial payware' release so anybody involved would see a return,I hope!
It's a pretty big job to do well as there are over 5000 wav files for each 'voice' in 2k2 and the default 'USEnglish VoicePack' has 10 voices available.
I would like to work with someone with a good knowledge of UK ATC to ensure it's accuracy as the default version doesn't always come near our UK phraseology.
I would also hope anybody interested could provide one of the 'voices', I'll do another and use pro 'voice over' actors for the rest I assume.
Knowledge of 'programming' would be great as I have virtually none, but it would only be to make a workable interface as the basic ATC.sdk is easy to use.
