Youtube Links
When clicking on Youtube links in Pprune(and other sites) an increasing number of the links change to a screen requiring a login to prove that one is not a bot. How does this work? Login to Pprune? I am. Login to Youtube? I am.

If you are logged in to both sites, you should not get that confirmation screen to prove that you are human. I suspect something on your system is trying to get in between you and your favourite websites. An example screenshot would help, as that might show the address in use at the time or any other hints on the page that could point towards the source of your troubles.

No problem for me from the link in the thread referenced on two browsers and 2 logins, one non-mod.
Over-enthusiastic ad / cookie blocker, or other browser security settings that YT isn't liking, perhaps.

I have the same problem. I use a VPN set up for the US and get the login message from YT. If I turn the VPN off I can see the video. Getting around is VPN on, VPN off. UK based, Safari on Ipad.

I stated elsewhere that can no longer see YouTube links unless they have been posted in a quote box.
I now only see a completely blank space below the typed script. I used to be able to see links and successfully click on them by opening a reply box, but of late, doing so doesn’t open such links.
Yet occasionally, at a later date, the same link will appear as a YouTube screen.
I’ve not changed any settings for a long time yet this seems to be a recent issue. The only thing that has changed on my iPad is that the iOS is kept up to date.
