LiveMail problem

My old (and beloved) Livemail is no turning up messages with the infamous error ID 0x800C013E

I've tried a few things - including a regedit that works for a lot of people but no luck - any suggestions?

It is dreadful when a beloved programme ( I refuse to say 'app'!) dies 'of old age', but time moves on (regretfully?)
I can only suggest you try Mozilla's Thunderbird as a replacement

I've tried Thunderbird and wasn't that impressed. I guess it's Outlook as per the day job..................
