Overlaying info in an app

Hello,

I recall using a desktop browser plug-in for rightmove.co.uk that for each listing overlaid all the asking price history. Please could you tell me if it’s possible to do something similar for an app? e.g. could I modify the Amazon app to display asking price histories for each listing, or can create I create my own app that displays Amazon’s website with the extra notes (possible intellectual property rights issues with the second?)?
