Morpheus - XP - background applications?
Just recovered my tosh laptop, which comes with win XP.
Now I have re installed all my programmes which include the p2p filesharer MORPHEUS.
A while ago I had problems downloading some game patches because of background applications running without my knowledge. i remember going into task manager, closing a few things and it solved the problem.
Now I'm trying to download stuff from MORPHEUS it just keeps reconnecting all the time. I suspect that it is some virus/firewall running in the background but I have no idea what should be running in the task manager and what shouldn't be.
Does anyone else know what you should close down in XP task manager to make it run only the minimum to suft the net?
