Pprune Pproblem
Missing threads in Rumours & News. The forum top level says that there is 9994 threads in this section of the forum but when I go into it I can only access the first 16 threads. The info box at the bottom of the page says 16 of 16 threads on show. There isn't any page options/numbers either above or below the 16 threads.
Where have the other 9978 threads gone?
I was trying to find the latest info on the MH370 search.
Anyone?

On the R&N forum page (indeed any forum page), have a look down at the bottom left hand corner - the bit entitled "Display Options"... You might want to change "from the last month" to the last year or something longer than a month.

But that is not making any difference. At first I thought the problem might be cookies as I was not using my own computer, but now I am back at home it still doesn't show me beyond the first 17 threads, logged in or not. I am sure it used to do.

With just one month selected, I also get about 17 threads, but as SD pointed out, if I select longer than a month, and then click show threads, many more are displayed.
With two months displayed I found the thread you're after

Ah, got it now. After changing it to show "last year" I re-loaded the page but omitted to click -
"show threads" presuming it was changing the default setting. Doh.
